Employees
NorthStar Learning Centers is committed to ensuring that employees are informed, equipped, and committed to promoting the well-being and competencies of the children, youth, and families we serve. We respect and care equally about our employees and strive to provide the best pay, benefits, and working conditions we can. The policies and procedures that you can access on this website are intended to collectively provide a program and work environment in which both program participant and employee interests are acknowledged, respected, and supported.
Changes in government requirements and best practices have entailed revisions of our Employee Handbook, Health and Safety Manual, and Family Handbook (for our early education and afterschool programs) with increasing frequency. This online format eliminates the need to replace old paper content and ensures that you access the most current versions from home or your cell phone as well as at work. Please note that, in each of our facilities, there is an up-to-date paper copy of each of these guidebooks in a designated place near a phone.
Please print a copy of the Employee Acknowledgement Form and read it carefully. Upon completion of your review of the Employee Handbook and Health and Safety Manual—and, for employees working in our early education and afterschool programs, the Family Handbook—sign the form and give it to your supervisor
